Just married...

I just read that each year 3000 Finnish citiziens marry foreigners.
Men prefer Russian, Estonian and Thai women and woman Turkish, British and American men.


Hui, that is acutally kinda surprising. I understand that they take Russian and Estonian girls, they don't live that far away but Thai? Ok, maybe the met them at their trip to Thailand. The Finns seem to love Thailand as a holiday destination. But getting immediately married? Alcohol? Whatever.
I don't understand Finnish women. They have got Finnish men and other nice men around, so why to take Turkish, British (at least this I understand somehow, just IF the man speaks this awesome dialect) and American?
How to come?

And by the way: Where the f**k are the Germans? :o)
